Awesome Animation!
Ok, these have been around for a while, but i love them so i’m posting one of the songs that is pretty amusing. All of their videos are looped so its hard to embed them properly which is why this is a link, but there are a few good ones including Pork, and Scotch Eggs, and Anything Kosher

I love Schmoyoho!!! I like this song too,
People keep posting this on facebook and i thought it was hilarious, not to mention the fact that its interesting how they took something old (Shakespeare) and made it contemporary, funny, etc.

Ok, so i havent posted anything in like a week and i thought i would post something about something that i did in my spare time.
This image is from Wikipedia, but it helped me do a 3d rig in Maya of the mechanism that allows a train to move. I’m really proud of my rig, especially since i did it entirely using constraints. Anyway, clicking the photo will take you to my video, and here’s a link to the video of the rig: Train Mechanism

Ok so, for some reason i always seem to post things from Youtube, but i thought i would post this because i really like autotune stuff, and ever since we started taking sound classes i have been really interested in sound.
I dont know how to do this kind of thing just yet but I am going to figure it out even if it’s just to say i did. Also, I love that song.
Anyway, maybe next time i post something it wont be a video…. but i doubt it. I like posting vids.
Ok, so i have tried to figure this out, but i cant tell if people are able to leave comments on my blog or not. If you cant leave a comment i would love to hear from you because it means something for people to actually be reading what i have to say (otherwise i would just keep this (b)log on my computer)
My AIM sn is MechanizedArtist, and on facebook you can find me: my name is Theo Leiss. If you are following this blog and for some reason cannot post a comment just message me through facebook or talk to me on AIM.
Ok, so its been a long day/night, and i want to post something just so i can say i did. I was watching Rescue Me with my friend Curt and Andy and Zach and Seth was there for part of it, and we were drinking a bit but i noticed the sound and how it was soooooo steriotypical and tv-show-ish during this part where about 7 people died and i couldnt help but think, “really, are they doing this right now?” but they were and i was like, you know what, there is something about sound design to be learned here:
It is Cliche to use a song and mute the dialogue of the original piece in order to make it more dramatic. That is what they did in this part of the show and i found it horribly cliche. Maybe my current state makes me see this kind of thing more (for instance, i noticed the shifting of light a lot in the show the way you would notice the light shifting in auto-exposure) but i hope that my movies/video pieces will be able to withstand a drunken cliche test. I feel like that might be a huge part of what makes a piece original; if you can avoid the things that peiople normally do in video and do something that still captures our emotions but defies the cliches. I’m going to end this piost before i incriminate myselfe tooo much. Goodnight world, and if you’re readi9ng this (and able to) please respond because it would mean the world to me to know that someone reads this shit. Gooidngithg
